i know nothing of telescopes but that looks excellent the kind of thing used for some real perving

It has a motor for following objects, which I think is what's need for long exposure photography. Other than that, I don't really know either, tbh.

We have our one year anniversary tomorrow, so I bought it as a gift for my wife as she likes astronomy and has been on about getting a scope.

I just read some forums and this came up as a good beginner scope if you didn't want to spend a fortune.

Looking forward to having a play with it. No doubt she will spend a fortune on extras for a couple of months then never touch it again.

ahhhhhhhhh i see, thats a nice idea for a present

my uncle had a nice scope once that he hooked his SLR up to and produced some nice images, he said the tracking is a must if i remember correctly

Just did a google and does indeed do photography, if not to a professional standard.

To get the best of it, you need a camera mount accessory (unsurprisingly).

Apparently shows the moons and rings of Saturn which I think is pretty awesome.
