I know i know theres always these! Ive come to think its time for an xe but my current insurer (directline) wont just update the engine change they are saying they will cancel the policy so im getting quotes now! My question is how do i say the size of the engine change? The only option im getting at the moment is to go into modifications and engine and change it to non standard engine but will this cover me changing it to a 2.0l?

and other companies that young people are insuring there xe's would be helpful too!

For an engine change you really need to go to a specialist company like Brentacre Chris.Other insurers won't touch a car with this kind of change.

Most places shit themselves when you just lower a car these days

Im with Brentacre with both my cars and the corsa has already had one change and will be changed again after the winter.

Ahhh cant do brentacre because im not 20 yet and i dont have a full years ncb in my own name :/

Do they still do policy's with a named driver? Surely i could be a named driver on a policy?

How are you going to get insured without a year NCB in your own name? That's like trying to insure one at 17 the day you pass your test. :/

Get quotes from all insurers and then give brentacre a call to see if they can beat your cheapest.

Done that with my old clio and they were cheaper by about 2k.

its a bit of a joke becuase you would be charged more for a 2L 150bhp corsa b than a 2L 150bhp standard vehicle.
