Someone went into the back of my mates E46 318 coupe.
He dropped it in on saturday and picked up his courtesy car.
He's very happy to say the least.

Although good to drive that about for a week, imagine how bad he'll feel getting back into a 318.

I always take what i'm given but tbh Audi always give me Audi A4's, mostly very new too. Had an A1 Competition Line once but loved it! They were a bit apologetic but tbh I love driving something different.

Not sure Skoda will be the same

When I had my Octavia vRS TDi, and when it kept going into the garage for being a proper lemon, I was often given Octavia 4x4s or Superbs. Only had something smaller like the Fabia a couple of times...

Wtf not just any old m3 either. No wonder why insurance costs so much

Fair enough if the guy had an m3 and wasn't at fault. If I had a ferrari that had been crashed into, i'd expect a ferrari to drive about in.

Maybe these new m3's are just thought of as normal.cars now?

He'll have some sort of like for like hire car cover in his policy, I suppose it's a bit like a 318

I'd be made up, but as mentioned by others I'd be gutted getting back into my 318 when it was fixed!

I thought that. Not that it'd hold me back though. Rather drive it for a short time than not at all.

Also, I thought it was #1 out of 500 at first which made it a bit more extreme.

the question is, would you tell your neighbours it's yours? then make up a story that you crashed it and wrote it off when it goes back?

......and this is why credit hire is so lucrative for all the wrong reasons.

The 'at fault' insurer will probably be hit for a bill upwards of Ł600 per day for that.
