...to leave an electric heating fan on over night?
Missus just remembered she left hers on at the office and it's a 45 min drive each way.
She's concerned it's a fire hazard, but tbh I have no clue...
It's this type:

I doubt it, there is a wall mounted one in the toilet block on site that runs 24/7. Obviously less to set fire to in the toilets but as long as nothing flammable is nearby it'll be fine.

Thanks Nath...
We can't get hold of anyone with a key, but I think she'll worry her self to death if we don't take care of it.
Donk, it's been around freezing point today, but dropping below -5° C tonight and staying there a few days it looks.

Should be thermostatic, either way it'll be a bit toasty in there tomorrow.

Working for a fire alarm company I would suggest no it isn't safe for the simple reason that I know of at least 3 instances in the last few years where an electric fan heater has set a cloth chair or similar alight and torched a building.
All joking aside.

Yes its safe, but those things are a pile of poo, they merely blow warm air around the room as opposed to heating it.
Buy a convection heater

Nope, EU plugs aren't fused. Anyway the fuse in the plug top is to protect the cable not the appliance. That said the appliance is probably fused anyway.

I left one plugged in, in my parents garage about 7 years ago. Was on at the socket but off on the heater. Nearly burnt the house down. My nova was black from the smoke
