Anyone doing it?

I did it year before last but didn't have the will power to do it last year. 6 days in and I'm finally over the hangover from New Years Day. Just debating now whether I can manage a night out this month on diet Coke or J2o.

Drinking diet anything for a night is probably worse than getting steaming.

Well, I have a few other options too. Definitely won't be drinking full fat. Sent me hyper last time I matched my mate pint for pint!

Ive heard diet drinks make you drunk faster when mixed with alcohol.

I am but it's a fairly natural occurence because all the shite I've ate over Christmas I won't be eating plus I won't be boozing every single day.

Not touched a drop this weekend and feel much better for it tonight.

I'm off the beer and cider. Replacing that with vodka and diet coke.

Does that count as a detox?

I had a concoction of "substances" over the new year, but that was just for a special occasion.
Back on the straight and narrow now.

No alcohol for January at all. I've moved it all to the garage so I'm not tempted.

Debating going fully dry for good.

I was going to for jan, but had a few things come up. Think I'm going to just do one night a week drinking on the weekend and cut the rest out for jan. mainly as a money saving exercise.

Don't have a night on diet drinks. Full of sweeteners.

You'll have the shits the next day good and proper.

Niece and nephew been staying this weekend. That is an incentive not to drink. Feeling groggy with attention needy children doesn't mix.

Mine starts tomorrow. No booze. No dairy. No processed foods. Basically drinking water and eating "clean" foods like meat n veg. No carbs either.

Bit of an experiment, might get the insanity DVDs and tie it in, see how it works out. Currently 12st 7, want to be sub 11st 6.

Im trying not to booze. I didnt realise how hard it would be. This is in aid of avoiding other 'Substances'.

I havent had one since the New year bender though so all is well

I dont seem to smoke half as much either. I have a 50g of smoke for 11 days now where as it would usually last me 5.
