Flashplates on Ebay is where i get mine. Have ordered quite a few sets, and all have been fine.

Only about £13 a pair too, with super-fast delivery.

How long they last also depends how you drill the holes.

I drill mine from back now with a 1-2mm pilot hole at slow speed, then go to what ever size i need but at slow speeds aswell

I use number plate surrounds so haven't had to drill or tamper with the plates at all.

I used numberplate sticky pads, I had to use a knife to get them off so they were strong. The only problem was if you stuck it on wonky.

Wtf, you drive an impreza most un-aesthetically pleasing car on road. How does two screws change aesthetics when the majority come from factory with them?

That's what I'd do and get a free tax disc holder while you're in. My local dealer charges about £14 for a pair of plates.

Halfords, although expensive, don't have any branding. Well it does, but it is only reflective so you can't really see it.

I get the plain black halfords value tax disc holder. Unfussy, clean and tidy.

I use a family friend to make my plates up. The font is slightly smaller but plate is a standard size - again they are as plain as can be;

I use fancyplates aswell, quick delivery too

Im also a hater of drilled plates, why go to the hassle of drilling plates and bumper from new when a sticky pad does the job fine. Hate how so much cars nowadays have such a point to the front bumper that the plate ends up bent and then the backing comes away. Astra vxr for example

I seem to have always used fancy plates

I also seem to have been one of the only people who put their front pad on the front of a Astra VXR and have it stay there for 3+ years

I get the GB euro bit on mine as it saves me sticking a badge on the boot

Cars like the VXR it's best to bend them up slightly before they go on the car...

Also, no screws in numberplates? Behave, some little scrote would be using them to take fuel without paying if I didn't screw my numberplates on

But I do make sure they are screw symetrically
