whats the deal with auto trader then, do you rate ot for a quick sell?
as i will advertise on gumtree but had messers before just thought id ask going to do the 3 week online and 1 week in mag

How much is it these days? Didn't think it was overly cheap, especially not worthwhile when you're only asking £4-500 imo. Try Pistonheads.

I went through a stage of buying and selling loads of cars about 12 months ago, eBay things sold quicker, found that auto trader I got more marketing calls than genuine questions about the vehicle in question.

Going on your location, i'd advertise free on Gumtree (stating genuine enquiries etc), eBay and pistonheads for a week before spending on an advert. Depends how quick you want it gone.

Selling mine at the moment, not much coming from Autotrader, had more from Pistonheads. Do get 20% cashback from quidco but it's still pricey!

My mate spent a fortune advertising on Autotrader recently, he was paying £50 a go for whatever option he was using and had to pay it 2 or 3 times because the car wasn't shifting.

As said just plaster it across all the free sites you can find.

I'd put it up online, there will easily be more people looking on their PCs, Laptop, iPhones etc for free rather than paying a couple of quid for a magazine that expires after a couple of weeks.

Guessing online, as publishing it in the mag, getting it distributed and someone buying it within 4 hours, would be mighty impressive

Shitters I sell on eBay and decent cars on autotrader. Always sell within a day or two. Pistonheads is a good all rounder but you get a lot if swap offered etc.
