Basically I've got a full time job 2 minutes from my house now and me and the misses have our second on the way so we have no need for my corsa and her mk2 focus but want something bigger

What would you pick? Looking at about 7k or less but it's got to be a decent high end of the range model (leathers, decent alloys etc)

She's set on an a4 s-line

I like the mk2 Octavia vrs

A4 B7 S Line, hard to find one with leather, took me months. Also be weary of the 2.0 Tdi engine, I have had loads of issues with mine!

Accord Type-R, Impreza...something along those lines. I don't like the boring 'standard choice' Germans though...something a bit different and enjoyable

Would not say A4 if you want lots of toys...they mostly have manual rear windows. WTF!

I would have either a Sapphire Cosworth, a Lotus Carlton, a Bentley Mulsanne Turbo R, a Mercedes 500E, an E28/E34 BMW M5, a 1988 Maserati Quattroporte, an Audi RS2, a twin plenum Rover Vitesse, a Merc 560SEL, a Rover P6 3500S, a P5B Rover Coupe, a Granada Cosworth, an Audi S8, an Audi V8, an Audi RS4, an Audi RS6, an E55, a Lamborghini LM002, a Merc 600 Pullman, a 5 or 6 litre vw phaeton, a Holden HSV, a Lancia Thema 8.32, or a 6.9 litre S Class Mercedes. But preferably, all of the above.

Or the A4 S line. A client at work has a very nice frosty blue one with two sets of rims. My eagle eyes noticed the wheels changed. Has winter ones.

No mate 140, I've had the EGR blanked and had it remapped. 170 have DPF and injector problems, hence why I didnt bother with one.

Mine had a porous head last year, so had to have a new head, cambelt, pump, etc. Most of the cost was labour, there crap to work on, most of the time its front end off to do anything!

Also in general I've found that Audi have shit spec as standard compared to BMWs, have you considered an A6 S Line?

Have you considered a BMW 320d M Sport; or even a 1 series; they have more space than you think :thinks:
