Tax free interest from a cash ISA. Tax free income from an investment ISA.

Not enough monies to fill one this year between the 2 of us unfortunately but I always transfer in the new tax year to one that has a decent bonus

I might take a drive into town tomorrow and open one, and then same again in a couple of weeks time for the new financial year.
I used to have ISA's coming out of my ears a few years ago, but they all got swallowed up thanks to home ownership

As Matt said...who's offering decent rates? To make it easier, I might just end up going to Natwest, as that's who i bank with anyway.

Most are really bad for instant access.
Santander have a 2.5% for instant access.
Most 3%+ are 2yr min.

I've got one with National Savings & Investments. Probably shite rates, but I'll be getting my interest on the £3k on 6th April then withdrawing into my Save to Buy account with Nationwide as all the deposit for a mortgage needs to be in there. Although I'll get taxed on it. Hmmm

So I've put what I can in my own personal ISA.
Thinking for next year, am I able to have a second ISA for my business account? Therefore I have a personal ISA and a Business ISA.. My accountant will know all this shit of course.

ISA = Individual Savings Account. So no.
There are plenty of other ways to be tax efficient as a business though.

It popped up when I logged into my Barclays account stating 11k I could save in an ISA.
I am probably better speaking with my account manager as well as accountant later this week.

Got mine in yesterday. I threw it into a Natwest one for now (which is total shit), but it'll be getting transferred to a bank which is offering more when i go back in to open another one in a week or so.

Current top rate is 2.5%, assuming they got that for 5 years straight and ignoring compound interest for simplicity, they would have made £1875. In reality it would be slightly more because of compounding interest.
The problem is that most ISAs are either variable or fixed for a very short period, so you need to keep on top of it if you want to get the best rates.
