What the fuck is wrong with the world? Why should she be able to sue for being a retarded cunt who struggles to put one foot in front of the other?

Thought it was good that they named and shamed her.

Heard about another one recently where a cop was claiming for injury after raming a stolen car off the road. The claim was directed at the owner of the car!

And NHS tits!

Mad world.

"She did not know there was a section of high kerbing" Those invisible high kerbs are a bastard.

"He helped her up" Lucky he wasn't brought up for attempted rape neither, given how this bird is claiming for falling over a seemingly invisible high kerb.

dont tell her that , she will be claiming damages on the whim she could of got promotion.

Also dont the police carry torches any more? ,I would argue that she hasnt followed her training or been able to use 'basic' human instinct ? Its a joke , i am glad hes gone public and its gone viral . When insurance fella was about for my public liability he said there is something like 400 claims a week to tesco where people trip and claim IMO if you cant look where your going then you deserve all you get

“Kelly wants to drop the claim to prove she is not a money grabber, not because she feels she’s done anything wrong.”

Some father he must be then if his daughter doesn't think there's anything wrong with trying to sue someone because she failed to pay adequate attention to her surroundings.

Truth is, if she wasn't a money grabber, she would've accepted that she'd cocked up and dealt with it rather than blaming a garage for having a kerb where she didn't expect one. It's not like it was even in an obscure position.

yea i showed this to the mrs the other night - its ridiculous. The blame culture needs to be kurbed (excuse the pun) before it gets really stupid...especially after that flapjack incident in that school.

Its the reason that you can't do ANYTHING anymore without having to sign an obscene amount of paperwork to say that you understand the risks involved in climbing a kickstool or somethin stupid like that.

That was fucking hilarious, changing the shape of how they are to be cut, just because someone got injured.

The whole country needs to sort their lives out with this shit. We've managed for thousands of years being surrounded by dangerous stuff and done just fine, we shouldn't have to put a warning sign up everywhere for the retards who can't look where they are going.

agree with the majority of people in here its utterly ridiculous that you can claim off someone for your own stupidity, really boils my p*ss.

I honestly think we should scrap the warnings and just take it as natural selection anyone stupid enough not to pay attention or apply common sense deserves it.

like people who get knocked over/killed at railway crossings when they are down yet still walk over them.

Not their fault in that instance as it wasnt clear enough it was a level crossing, or that trains might be coming.

The large bright barriers arent enough, nor is the presence of the actual track.

You need signs, shit loads of them, and signs about the signs too.
