It's nice, I wouldn't part with my money for a mini though. My main complaint is they are way too stiff/hard

Looks like an okay spec though!

Lovely Steve. Could do with a steering wheel Retrimmer or dye.

Interior is very cool.

My god that interior is hideous. Them stickers as well.

15% pulley, GRS Motorsport cooler, Dave F Airbox. 210bhp.

1320 will do pulley for £365 quid and give you 200bhp from 170.

Pleased you got a later face lifted one with better gearbox, charger, headlights.

to replace the pulley, is it just unbolt bolt on job or does it need a remap too?

I got a 15% Pulley fitted to mine a couple of months ago at Mad4Mini in Leeds. It's basically a bolt on, bolt off job I think. I'm sure you'd be able to give it a go after all the work you've done on the Puma. Think any complications getting the original pulley off the supercharger means the whole charger needs to come off to remove it. Think the original is heated, pressed on, and cooled to clamp itself on. No remap is needed, but it's a good idea to check the air/fuel ratio afterwards. I'm also not sure on the claimed figures of 200bhp with just the pulley.

I've also got the Dave F Airbox and I recommend that as well. Newman cams are about £180, GRS or GP Intercooler, 380cc injectors off a JCW and a remap and it'll fly!

A mate's bird used to have one, nearly bought it when they part ex'd it, but ended up waiting and getting mine instead. Only thing that puts me off a Checkmate is the interior

Never liked Mini interiors generally, looks like a kid has drawn it and added more stuff as he thought of it. Then those colours, Jesus. Perhaps you need to be there.

It's pretty marmite. It personally doesn't bother me, I neither like or dislike it, I just bought the car mainly because had bugger all miles and enjoy its driving experience. It's a shame they are so hairdresser in the appearance

Don't do pulley yourself, need a special tool.

Doesn't need a remap, if anyone tells you otherwise they just want your money. Only need a map once you go beyond 220bhp with JCW injectors.

Surely just buy a JCW if you want more power then tweak the JCW and get even more power.
