Has told United he wants to leave

Been here before, haven't we? What a cunt

Another pay rise 'one more staggering contract' type episode I assume.

Rooney hasn't looked like he's wanted to play for us for a while now. Getting rid won't be a bad thing imo

Not sure if it's desire or fitness. Always seems to be blowing a lot when playing even short spells

I've never been arsed if he leaves or not. I knew this would happen anyway when Fergie goes. Hopefully IF he does go it will be abroad.

Not clicking Steve's link, but if we had RVP20 and CR7 back at the club, sure have WR10 would be a bonus but we would get along fine without him. Plus we have JH14.

They were saying Bayern yesterday when the rumour started. Not sure he'd get any more game time over there though.

And he has been poor this season, plays against the shit teams, shit against the good teams

I would be interested in hearing Naths thoughts on that last sentence considering when Steve said it he face palmed

He hasn't been shit though. People just like to slate him. He doesn't play as far forward and when used in midfield and holding he has been decent. He's not the same player they bought all those years ago, he's changing.

In general anyway. This season might not have been his best, sure. But he's far from shit.

Not really a drama like it was last time he threw toys out the pram due to him no longer being our best player.

He has looked off the boil this season but if hes not happy there anyway more, its not surprising.

If he wants to leave, let him. United have had years of good service from him.

Fair enough, shit might be harsh, but he's not been great. Think I'm harsher on his performances because he gets so much praise from certain media people even when he's awful.

I hope Powell does become a regular. Pee's me off when big clubs buy up decent players from the lower leagues then don't make anything of them.

Moyes is good at bringing through the youth at least, so hopefully he'll give him the chance. Ashkey Westwood has done well at Villa after coming from Crewe, so fingers crossed
