As above. Parts of my car have just been painted and the rest mopped, so i want a really good polish and wax for my black B. Ive looked on various sites and i just get confused theres that much to choose from. Not too fussed on price just want someone to tell me what will make my car shine like mad and protect the paint work. Thanks

Poorboys worth a shout. Blackhole is a polish specifically for dark cars then the Natty paste wax from the same range.

deffo rate poorboys, its given me the best shine ive ever had on my white Gsi so id say the range they have for dark colour cars would be equally as good

The poorboys natty wax, is it better in paste form or liquid? I suppose liquid is easier to apply but i take it they both work the same?

Black Hole is a great product but it is a glaze, not a polish.
Polish reduces the appearance of scratches by way of removing a small amount of clear coat; it contains tiny abrasive particles which wear down as you buff to smooth off the harsh edges of scratches which rob you of shine.
Glaze fills the scratches - i.e. hides the ones you couldn't correct with polish.
The outcome is largely the same - your paint looks badass, but polish aims to correct the defects, glaze will mask it (and is better for your paint, because you're not removing a microscopic layer of the clear coat each time you apply it!)

To save making a new thread, could someone recommend me some polish and wax for my orange 182?

If you do go for Poorboys blackhole be sure to top it with a wax as it won't last otherwise bud. Something like Dodo Juice Purple Haze would be ideal

I couldn't say Ben as I've not used Natty's paste wax myself personally. It does seem to get great reviews though and does look good value for money!
Black hole and Purple haze work very well together, Naths black Corsa C is a great example of this

For the best shine on black car it has to be zaino z2 nothing even comes close .. It's a sealant so just polish the car then apply zaino ontop and it will shine and be protected for ages
