Got a call this moring from my local garage who were sorting my alternator out that was squealing
"hi steve, yeh alternator is all sorted.......but we have some bad news....."

now im thinking (oh great here comes the arse raping for something they've found)

"yeh went to get it in last night and someone has backed into it and dented the quarter and cracked the top of the light"

...... ....what?! fuck me

gutted this happened before PVS but to be fair to them they have held their hands up and have no idea who did it and have offered to pay for it, said they wanted to take it to a local place but they cant touch it until friday, im like "let me stop you there i work for a bodyshop, let me deal with it"

so getting some pics sent over via email which i wil look at through my fingers.. lets hope its not as bad as it sounds

regardless im going PVS but albeit with a dented car, ohwell may think about re-freshing the paint or changing the colour now (good excuse as any i suppose).....lets see

Oh shit, wan't expecting that from your original post. Hope you get it sorted quickly.

Pisses me off people who just bugger off. My girlfriend has had it twice with her 61 plate Corsa. Both times nice big dents left on it and she's left to pay the bill.

this^^

just got off the phone with the garage owner, not going to name names as its not his fault, hes sound about it, said that as it was in his care he is liable, not wanting to go through insurance (neither am i- will write the poor fucker off) he knows im in the bodywork game, so going to get an estimate together and he will pay me to get it done

hopefully with a little extra cash and getting it done myself will maybe do a colour change or just a paint re-fresh all over and get rid of all the dents, did have a week off coming up start of july, looks like im going to be doing this now.... lol
