After being on here for a while now I thought I should start a write up for my second project.
Some of you will (hopefully) remember my first corsa.

1.0 Envoy
Sportex exhaust
Coilovers
Gsi kit
And chavvy black slabs that really needed a refurb

So anyway I got rid of that November 2012 and decided to get another B.

1.0 GLS
Totally standered when I bought it (apart from a cheap cd player and some Halfords wheel trims)
Mint condition inside and out.
Power steering
Central locking
Elec windows, mirrors.

First thing I did was fit the slabs off the old one.

Then I had to get the last little bits of the old corsa.

Then it went off to the scrapyard

Then I polished the old sportex 3" outward rolled backbox up and fitted it to the gls

But decided to sell it on.

Then I stripped the rear bumper and arches off to check for rust.
Behind the rear bumper was spotless.

Behind the offside rear arch was not

Got my mate from work to cut it out and weld a new plate in...Havn't got any pics of that though.

Then I got the coilovers fitted.
Front camber FTW!

Then I refitted my slabs, got the geometry done, fitted some bulbs I had lying around and went to the East mids meet.

Then I removed the front bumper, jacked up the front and removed the 2 front wheels and got the underseal out.

Havn't got any pictures of the arches undersealed.
But cleaned them up quikly and didn't find any worrying rust.

Rear arch

Then had a quik check underneath, just to make sure it wasn't caked in oil.

Went scrapyard and came back with a new tailgate with a sport spoiler

Also at the same time I got some Vauxhall mudflaps.

Then bought a cobra exhaust of my mate, got that fitted straight away

Then I removed the rear wiper as it wasn't working anyway, think the new loom was f**ked when I fitted the new tailgate.
Just put a rubber bung in it for now until my mate from work can weld it up i'll get the handle smoothed off as well.

Fitted some team heko wind deflectors

And that's about it. All up to date
On the look out for some alloys!! Want some team dynamic pro race 3's so i'm going to try and get some at the end of the month.
Bumpertops, arches and bumpstrips are going anthracite along with a couple of other little bits.
Definatly want an engine conversion, this 1.0l getting boring now. Really would like a x16xe on r1 bike carbs, but will proberbly go with just a standard x16xe or c20xe.
Then get inside and outside fully resprayed inside plastics flocked, bucket seats and a little rear cage powdercoated anthracite.
All in time

Appriciate comments good and bad

***UPDATE 30/06/2013***

Well this week hasn't been my week unfortunately,
Last sunday morning my clutch cable snapped...in the garage all day Thursday, came back to me all well and good. Driving to work as on Friday as usual, raining+sh*t budget tyres (all legal though) ended up with this...

So mad with myself and the fact I new it was on budgets and I didn't do anything about it
But anyway, the car I went into had very minimal visual damage, a cracked number plate and a little scuff on the bumper
Got to work on Friday morning, put it on the ramp and thankfully nothing major was twisted/bent!!

So I got the car home and left it how it was all day yesterday (Saturday). Today I decided to start stripping it down, getting rid of some of the damaged panels and ready for the new panels.

Bumper, lights, and radiator/fan all removed. You can also see the slam panel bent up, so i'v just orderd a brand new front panel

The fan housing has broke in two places and the rad had nothing holding it in place apart from the hoses!!

It still works, but to avoid any later problems i'm just going to replace them both.
And my last purchase is a set of team dynamic pro race 3.0's in silver wrapped in 195/45/15 Falkens

Had the choice of black, silver or white...white wasn't an option so it was out of black or silver, but I decided to go with silver for the more subtle (spelling? ) look.
Unfortunately DemonTweeks don't keep this wheel on the shelf so I have to wait 4-5weeks for them to be made!!
That's all that's happened to the car recently, hopefully have abit better update soon!!

Thanks for looking.

Get it all repaired, i'm just in the process of paying for some morettes, new exhaust system, then maybe an engine conversion, i'd love a 1.6 on r1 bike carbs, its different, but i'll proberbly end up with a c20xe.

Not much of an update really, but received my morettes today

Not sure on how to wire up indicators though

Also removed the wings off the corsa redy to remove the front panel.

Also marked up the spot welds wich are holding the front panel on. Counted 41 in total. Will hopefully drill all them out tomorrow.

And here's a picture of how it stands at the minute.

Cheers.

Ouch, seemed yours crumpled less than a lot of the crashed Corsas I've seen though, that says something about integrity

Does look like good plans though, are you going to leave the grille off? They look good like that.
Hope it's all sorted soon!

Well. yesterday (05/07/2013) I rang demon tweeks up and decided to change my order from silver team dynamics to gloss black, to go with my morettes....
Today I got home from work to these...

And inside?

Couldn't wait to see them on the car so put one one.

Also I removed the tyres from my order as i'm getting a set of 195/45/15 Uniroyal's from work.
I'll be ordering them tomorrow and fitting them Monday!!

Soo excited to get them on

Also rang a couple of mobile welders and i'v found one that will come and weld my new slam panel for £45. So that's happening Wednesday!!

That's all for now!!
Thanks for looking!!

Not much of an update but drilled out 42 spot welds and removed the front panel.

New slam panel is being welded on Wednesday!! so then I can star building the front end up!

Also decided to chuck one of the alloys on the back to see how much they stick out!!

Orderd my tyres yesterday, should be at work on Tuesday so i'll be popping down work Tuesday morning to get them fitted!!

Thanks for looking!

Havn't updated this is ages, mainly because i'v been soo busy with work!!
But anyway, alloys are on, morettes are on and the cars back on the road!!

I have now got rid of the morettes to *CorsaCal* on here. In return I got smoked depo's, 2.0L brakes and a little bit of cash. Brilliant lad to trade with and stunning car!!
Havn't got any pics of the new bits yet, i'l get some tomorrow when I finally get round to doing a little bit of work on the car.

Cheers.
