Uniteds first 5 games are very harsh on moyes! Swansea away, chelsea at home, Liverpool away, palace at home, man City away.

4/5 of those games are very difficult fixtures

Excellet start for Moyes. Will set the tone for the season imo!

We've got Stoke, finish with Newcastle.

I'm ever the pessimist but as my mate just pointed out, if moyes took 15 points from those first 5 games it'd be absolutely huge. Fingers crossed for a good start.

United never start well though. At least gets some of the harder games out the way in this period

What about 2011/12?
Beat city 3-2 in charity shield, best west brom 2-1, beat spurs 3-0, beat arsenal 8-2, beat Bolton 5-0, beat chelsea 3-1.

Or do you mean since you've been a fan we've only ever had a poor start?

Or perhaps I meant since you became an elitist cunt?

Of course there are exceptions but generally United are known to always come on song in the second half of the season.

I don't think you can look at previous seasons when you've got a new manager anyway tbh Steven.

Bloody hell @ United's first games can see us being in the bottom half in those 5 games and will just be playing catch up all season.

Going to be such an exciting season though!

Never seen the fascination withthe media spaffing their pants over the fixture list. You have to play these teams at some point so makes no difference.

i have to say im incredibly intigued as to how Utd's season will shape up, irrespective of the fixtures. will he shake things up? how will he integrate any new signings? how will he deal with the established players hwove onyl ever know Fergie?

What with that, Mourinho, the changes at City and the supposed new found wealth at Arsenal (and uncertainty at Spurs) its def shaping up to be one of the best seasons yet
