Thanks chaps. I'm properly made up with it. Really really am.

Norcy my longer term plans include, pully, intercooler, airbox, suspension, exhaust, wheels

But for now I'm just going to concentrate on the cheap or free mods to sort the exterior out (while I get abit of Savings behind me again)
Things like detango'ing the lights in the bumper. Getting more of a "white" sidelight and full beam. New number plates. De wiper the boot. Just try and sort out l the little things that make the big differences

I like them. Have done for a while tbh. There a nice car to drive aswell as being nippy and nice looking.
Yer Steve it's just had a service from BMW about 2 months ago but I'm just going to do my own anyways. Don't really trust main dealers. I'd rather go over it all myself to make sure. So new filters, oil, coolant and sparks is on the cards

Cool just don't get the Castrol edge. The motul stuff also comes in 5l too

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-881-motul-specific-ll-04-bmw-fully-synthetic-motor-oil-5w-40.aspx

Its thicker than the Castrol stuff so you wont use nearly as much and the car will run quieter too. This stuff was recommended to me by 1320

I've never had a car that gets so many good comments off total strangers. Not that makes a difference to whether I'd have it or not but I would say that means it's not just internet cool.

Great cars other than the fact that the fuel useage to power ratio must be one of the worst in the world.

Terrible if you have a heavy foot. Not to bad if you drive like a saint, (almost) is like a normal 1.6 na on part throttle

Agreed, quite reasonable just tootling around, soon as you put your foot down you can virtially watch the needle drop on the petrol gauge.
