So after getting rid of the corsa i needed a new car, wanted something abit newer, something with a nice interior and that i can drive and not worry about really
so i bought this beauty
Gave her a clean today and took a couple of other picture
First mod was to replace that bloody massive arial for a bee sting one
before
After
Got a load of bulbs and that on order to detango the lights and sort out the side light and full beams being yellow

Oh is it the newer shape? Shows howmuch I pay attention to minis
The few I've seen have been rusty aswel which is shocking
I'd love a red one, what's tax etc on them?

Insurance for some reason is dirty cheap. Adrien flux gave me the best quote tbh
Tax is quite high at £150 for 6 months. But the money I saved on my insurance pays for that with some left over haha
Not a single spot of rust on this one. Not even underneath. That's why I jumped on it when I came for sale!

Mine was this colour with white roof and mirrors. Had to be polished everytime you washed it.

Ahh same price as mine for tax then, was thinking this could be the sensible cheaper sidestep but maybe not.
Still tempting though as they look so good

Insurance will be chaper haha. I've saved 800 on mine this year just by swooping from the corsa to this.
As for polishing it ojc it will be properly detailed and sealed in a few weeks when I get time and its not too bloody hot. Hahaha
Thanks dan

Looks nice but seems like it's missing something? Should it have the stripes?

I personally really really dislike the stripes on a mini. Much prefer them without. Did want a black roof to be honest but it's rare as rocking horse shit to find so I might just get the roof painted instead

Insurance comes out similar to the Clio, wouldn't mind having a go in one.
Road tax is similar to the Clio too, £260 for 12months

Watch when taking the chrome off as the clips are rubbish. You will burst some so be prepared to glue them back down. Same goes for the scoop aswell. You can buy a belt line black out kit for the chrome that runs under the windows but I just used black sparky tape as it's the perfect size and doesnt come off. Also cheap as chips and looks better.
Colour is great btw. Front bumper looks great but never been a fan of the aero rear.
