So, porn will be automatically blocked in the uk by all ISPs, you'll have to opt in.
Shocking idea IMO, I'm not even sure why there is a reason to do it. I think we have a freedom to look at whatever we want, providing its legal, this isn't illegal so why is it being blocked?

Its for all the parents who are too lazy to block certain sites themselves. We must protect childrens innocence. They cant possibly see someone having sex before the age of 18.
I dont understand as why a bill payer who is over 18 they have any right to block sites that are totally legal. Nanny state gone mad. Daily mail generation.

I'll make the phone call. More out of point and principle then the need to access Lobster tube, red tube, porn hub, xhamster, lube tube etc...
I won't be looking any way

Exactly
I can see their point about violent or extreme stuff not available on the top shelf, that's fine, ban away, blocking EVERYTHING though, that's over reacting.

This is the type of over legislation that is turning everyone in this country into brain dead zombies incapable of looking after themselves or their children because they assume the govt. is going to do it all for them.

They stop calling it front botty at 14 so don't know what shit you've been watching.
Am all for this move . I think porn is disgusting and degrading to women .
I just hope the mrs parents opt in while am staying there so I can still use their wi-fi to do my research on these nasty degrading videos

Fucking ridiculous. If they ban one thing, some idiot will complain about something else offending them, the media will press that to be banned. It all begins here. It won't atop and we'll be censored like the Chinese before too long.
Oh and if imagine you can just opt in online with a credit card number like you have to on mobile phone contracts to see porn (or so I'm told)

I'm not particularly bothered about the filters, I'll just ask them to be turned off. I'm more concerned about the cost of yet more legislation at a time when we really don't need it. Why not spend the money on improving sex education or something like that
