Right being self employed and scaffolding supervisor I get to sack a few people but recently we've ha this little prick on the firm, lies about everything, smokes weed, walks too slow and generally thick as shut. Well today I sacked him and is it wrong to say I absolutely enjoyed it?

If he deserved it, then no, nothing wrong with enjoying it. Twat don't deserve the job by the sounds of it.

Scaffolding supervisor who doesn't know what 'founds' means, you should give yourself the sack

Want a job?

Scaffolders labourer with cscs is £80 day before tax without cscs £70 a day..

Part 1 scaffolder £100 a day

Part 2 scaffolder £140 a day

Advanced scaffolder £175 a day

That's the basic wages for scaffolders in south east

I've sacked 2 women; 1 was absolutely distraught and it just became awkward and the other took it on the chin, picked up her stuff and left.

Hated doing it and don't enjoy it in the slightest.

CSCS only adds a tenner a day on? I have no experience with scaffolding and have a fear of heights wasps and spiders, I could easily get used to heights for £70 a day but if a wasp or bigger than average spider comes near me I'll jump off a 30+ft scaffy tower no problem!

If I took up your offer of a job could we put that to the test?
