Had a read up on it the other night and it seems as though it can't really be seen anymore more, something about a perihlon (sp). Will have to wait until around christmas.

I saw orions belt and the outer stars associated with it on friday night, from my back door. It was quite a sight.

Watched BBC 2 documentary on this last night. Amazing to think how long its been travelling from the outer reaches of our solar system. It will give indications of how the Gas planets (Jupiter and Neptune in particular) were formed apparently

No I didnt. Merely pointed out that I could see it, which was due to a clear sky and no lighting from other peoples houses.
i'll make sure to go into paul j style depth next time I post anything up, just so there is no confusion.
