Morning, just

I was looking on there yesterday as well, Gary Would be nice to have some half decent sound from my TV sometimes. Not that I have any cash to spend on such items.

Indeed they would Sir

Not bad Nice to see people are still buying proper gear rather than bloody ipod docks and wireless sodding speakers

I've got a pair of B&W 603s.

I love em but i'd REALLY like a pair of Nautilus. They're fifty five grand though.

And then i'd need a pair of Krell Monoblocks or similar to run them. Plus a load of Audioquest speaker cables and interconnects, plus a Michell Gyrodec, plus a Meridian Boothroyd Stuart CD transport & DAC, etc etc etc etc etc etc.

And as I haven't just completed the world's most successful jewel/bank heist, I can't see it happening.

God I hate being poor

I bought a pair of Jam Plus speakers from Currys recently for use at work, certainly makes you wash a car a bit quicker Pretty good sound considering it's just a little £50 bluetooth speaker. They had it on buy one get one free so thought it was mega bargain

Can't beat a proper system though with decent amp and speakers But only dad can afford that in our house

Nice

Bought my Dad a nice little Marantz 2 channel amp last Chrimbo, so he could have his turntable separate from his AV gear and listen to his vinyl through his spare KEFs.

Fucker hasn't even taken it out of the box yet!!!!!

Upgrading from small satellite speakers to big floor standers weren't a hit here either.

Women

Girls are stupid. They just don't 'get' Hi Fi. Yet they invariably claim to love music.

I'm not sure i'll get away with floor standers.

Thinking some standmount Mezzo 1/2's, but not sure about placement. I'll take a photo of the new TV placement at home and see what you good folk think

Women prefer style over substance.

This is why they don't go for fat blokes.

Dave, with his love of hybrids and all things related, will be most impressed with my current view.
