so last night I was driving about and police stop me and took me back to station and questioned me for a while about my driving mannerism.
Went back to car this morning to be welcomed by a footprint on p/s window, my splitter hanging off and a parking ticket. 
Do I stand any chance contesting the parking ticket as obviously I couldn't help where I parked, nor could I move it as I was in the station.

If you're asked to stop, you still get to pick somewhere safe and legal. So no.
Never heard of being taken to the station either? Was your driving that bad?

Sounds made up.
Police stopped you and then took you to station, but left car parked illegally.
Traffic warden/police have given you a parking ticket but not then had the car lifted?
Not one bit of it sounds true.

Your fault unfortunately. You wouldn't stop in the middle of a busy junction, so why stop in a place where you shouldn't be parked?

You'll find that if you try to go more than 150yds from the point their blues come on up here they'll try to hit you with failing to stop.

lol no no orange imprezas.
When they put the blues & 2s on, there was nowhere to stop for a very long while so I stopped where I was because I didn't want them to think I was refusing to stop.

The fact that John's lying theory has been ignored suggests it's maybe true. I reckon you're right taylor, I've never heard of anyone being arrested for questioning over 'driving mannerisms'

That was my thought but peoples names and addresses are usually published when convicted of other crimes.
