I've been going now for 13 months.

At my lowest weight in my adult life was summer 2007 when I was travelling, not eating properly at all, travelling third world countries, getting the shits etc. I dropped down to 63kgs. Bearing in mind i'm 6'1".

I've always been slim, can eat whatever I want and never put on any weight at all.

Ive just gone past the 82kg mark now, which is a 10kg gain in 13 months. I'm targetting the 90kg mark at the minute which I hope to hit by autumn. I'm doing my best to eat around 3500 cals a day but its tough meeting this at work as I start the day with porridge, at about 0515, then we dont have a break at work til 12 noon, and thats only 20 minutes, then finish at about 4 and go straight to the gym for an hour, 4-5 days a week.

Most days i'm consuming around 150g protein.

Anyway, thought i'd share that little bit of info

Edit - i've also gone up from 40.5" chest to 42" inch since September last year, but I have been far more focussed since Sept.

I've still maintained a healthy, balanced diet, obviously I have cheat days where I just eat whatever I lay my eyes on, but mainly just eating larger portions. I did have 6 weeks on weight gain between middle september and start of november.

I've been a bit slack of late at the gym due to doing my house up. Summer fast approaching so I'm going to try and get back in to the lifting routine and cut out the fats at the same time.

I'm not fussed about cutting and stuff, i'm 70% doing it for me, strength and confidence, and 30% to just bulk up a bit.

I'm currently training 4 days a week, but i'm thinking of starting on 5 days - Mon-Fri but alternating exercises between days, which i'm already doing mon/tue - thur/fri.

Will I be over training or will I be ok so long as I alternate?

Yes you can overtrain, unsure why Russ is laughing to be honest!

Alternate and make sure you do different groups each day, rest is key and just as important, make sure you sleep properly and dont over do it, last thing you need is an injury putting you out for months.

I do mon-thurs and sat.

Youll start to feel tired, weak and less motivated if you over train.

Just remember that more time in the gym doesn't necessarily mean more gains.

I do three days a week and even that feels too much sometimes

If that's true, would explain a few things. My cousin has autism, she can be pretty random at times
