First ever snow-based medal (except the one we won before that was taken away)
The commentators on BBC were fucking awful though, 1 was crying and couldn't watch her actual run, one was a woman who sounded like Fearne Cotton, and the other bloke was an idiot.
The woman said "Britain is dominating snowboarding" ... no it isn't, we got one medal. A Bronze.
They asked one of the commentators what it means for the sport in the UK and he started crying.
Also, I can't do the tricks etc...before someone jumps on this comment, but compared to the blokes Slopestyle, the girls was pretty weak

I used to go to the dry slope at Halifax a few years ago, there was a young kid, probably early high school, who was properly brilliant. Turns out it was Jamie Nicholls.
Agree with the women comments too, I've seen people at the indoors better than what I saw today.

thieve only just been allowed to ride the bigger jumps iirc unlike the men who have had time to learn the big tricks they were doing 1620s yesterday. jenny jones has won a lot of events in her time 3 xgames golds she deserved the bronze the girl commentating was aimee fuller who got knocked out in the semis

I'm not surprised, seems crazy that they wouldn't be allowed to do the same things as the men. If they want to risk injury trying crazy shit like the men do, then let them
I'm guessing that is it for the slopestyle? (Haven't been watching much but caught the mens yesterday, and only flicked over this morning when I saw on SSN that she'd won the medal)
Last winter Olympics the snowboard races were the best bit, so looking forward to catching some of that again

Which indoor slope is that? I'm pretty sure there has not been a jump near the size of the main 3 at any of our indoor slopes. The last one you would have been hitting the roof at any of them.
I found the commentary good fun. Ed Leigh just has a passion for the sport he has been in for the last 15+ years.
Lets hope this pushes to get much more money behind the sport and some more slopes
Oh - and this is why everyone should wear a helmet if your on the snow

Cavey, Aimee Fuller isn't a commentator-she was invited into the commentary box after being knocked out in the semi finals. To her credit, her run would have easily placed her in the final had she not 'butt-checked' but shed taken a risk and gone big rather than played safe and it unfortunately didn't pay off. She's not a natural commentator and she's young, maybe her passion and enthusiasm was over the top to the general public but I'd rather that, than some boring fuck who doesn't know Te sport - Jonathan Edwards and Matthew Pinsent had no connection to the sports that they're hosting, they wouldn't know a triple cork from a 180 method or a rail from a box and the latters interview with Jenny Jones was cringeworthy until her mum and dad made and appearance.

He had it removed for using a Vicks nasal inhaler to treat a cold he had - at the time, the ingredients of vicks were banned so they stripped his medal.

Bit annoyed earlier, they put the Speed skating to red button so they could go live to pushing a stone down the ice.
The men's moguls is pretty awesome to watch - again infinitely better than the women's, dont know of they're new to this as well?
