I like both options. But needs to be thick gravy, none of this thin watery pish.

If its JUST sausage and mash, beans it is.

If its with bacon, or roasted veg, gravy.

Sausage, mash, red onion gravy and peas.

Mustard is equally important.

I have never in my life heard of anyone having baked beans with Sausage and Mash and I'm about as northern as it gets.

Gravy all day long. Never tried it with peas and gravy but I'm not convinced that it would be an improvement. Peas and gravy are better suited to a meat and potato pie imo. Beans are just a plate filler to me, I've never had a single meal that has been improved by adding beans.

Beans definitely.

Gravy is only acceptable when having roast dinners.

Northerners are fucking oddball inbred fuckers.

Everything. Sauce is for chips, gravy is for potatoes and chicken/beef/yorkshires.

I'd be happy with beans, but would go for peas and gravy if I was making myself.
