I recently, through boredom purchased a HTC 109 sig sauer replica bb gun.

It was fairly cheap but quite cool..

Spring powered about 250 feet per second 6mm bbs.

But now I want something better, I'm not bothered about mega expensive just something that works a bit better outdoors as the above is a little underpowered. I also don't want something as big as an air rifle.

I was considering this, Gamo pt85 tactical co2 pistol

It fires .177 pellets, 550 feet per second, semi automatic, blow back. Costs 140 quid.

Any thoughts or experiences?

That was a joke btw, I just enjoy shooting objects and targets.

Will get bored of doing that at some point though, hence why not spending shit loads, or going to the extent of an air rifle

Could you make the image bigger so I can see it easier?

I've got one of these: http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/asg-sti-1911-a1-gas-shell-ejecting-product,15007 with an extra laser sight.

Yeah, again, just for shooting targets really. It has the all metal construction with a plastic slide, unlike the cheaper version that are mostly plastic with the orange tip. The laser sight switches between a bright flashlight and green laser, the shell ejecting is a cool feature. The aluminium 6mm BB's are much more powerful.

My mates selling one of these http://www.shootingandscuba.co.uk/store/shooting/air-and-co2-guns/weihrauch-pistols/177-cal-hw75-pistol.html with proper scope, splat targets, hard target, pellets and bag if you're interested. There's about £400 quids worth and he wants £250. All in as new condition without a scratch.

I have the gun you pictured Steve without the sights and silencer.. its a lethal bit of kit mate for a pistol. Few years ago I shot a car (down scrap yard) and damaged it badly. I'll try and dig some photos from my old phone

Or if you want an air pistol get the hw45. I had that. Single shot but a good gun. Sold mine on. They hold value quite well.

Stcheven, would a plastic BB gun that came with plastic ball bearings take metal ones?

If they were the same size I don't see why not, plastic are usually 6mm, although the feet per second would drop quite a lot I would have thought

That air rifle above is cool.

Just been out and purchased that tactical pistol will update with pics later, may even fire it
