This has to be one of the worst crashes at a UK Airshow for many years for deaths? Normally it's only the pilot that's killed..

Apparently the pilot is still alive and everyone there is currently stuck in the show as it crashed into the only way in/out on the A27

You can see them putting in new rules to limit what an be done at low level ie loops can only be done much much higher

That is horrendous. You can't even imagine being sat helplessly in your car with your family/kids and seeing that coming towards you.

The amount of airshow issues seriously needs to be addressed.

A lot are saying that nervous laughter is a shock thing and quite common. I've never had it myself, but I guess it's an understandable theory given the circumstances.

I can only assume that something god awful happened to the plane? Otherwise you'd think he'd do absolutely everything to dump it in the water. Obviously it's impossible to speculate as to the reasons behind the accident though. That picture is surreal

Think he just fucked up. Did a loop, misjudged it.

Similar happened to a Spit pilot at Duxford but landed on runway and exploded. Grim.
