So thanks to someone on here mentioning https://mot-history.net I got totally addicted and searched through all my previous cars. Was saddened to see most are dead! Anyway, my worst ever car according to the results was my wonderful Fiat Punto GT3! Can anyone beat 18 failures and 3 advisories!?

Reason(s) for failure
Offside Front Seat belt adjustment fitting fractured (5.2.3)
Windscreen has a sticker or other obstruction encroaching by more than 10mm within zone 'A' (8.3.1b)
Offside Rear Direction indicator incorrect colour (1.4.A.2f)
Brake pedal anti-slip provision loose (3.3.A.1b)
Offside Front Windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively (8.2.2)
Offside Front Shock absorber has a serious fluid leak (2.7.3)
Nearside Rear Shock absorber has negligible damping effect (2.7.5)
Offside Rear Brake cable locking device missing (3.5.1l)
Nearside Front brake disc in such a condition that it is seriously weakened (3.5.1i)
front brake application uneven (3.7.B.2)
Nearside Rear rear parking brake recording little or no effort (3.7.B.6a)

Brakes imbalanced across an axle (3.7.B.5b)
Advisory notice item(s)
rear no plate starting to deteriorate
nearside external door mirror cracked
nearside front inner cv gaiter split

(It did actually have a higher number once, 22 - But most were advisories; I consider failures much worse even if there's less of them!)

Crikey, my old cars are still on the road!

1999 Corsa 1.0 - Just passed with an advisory, though looks like it had rust issues for the last two MOT's before that.

2004 Ibiza FR Diesel - Seems to have failed on CV boots every year for the last 5

I then had a 2010 Civic Type S for about 2 months, that's had a couple of advisorys... then the bad news

My Type R seems to have been written off! Last MOT expired October 2014, and nothing since.

Lol my first corsa car a corsa C was still going up to 2014...then nothing

had literally TONS of failures every year, in the grand scheme of things my Corsa B track car faired better in yearly tests haha

corsa c racked up 112,000 miles until it died, meh not back for a 12 year old car

my old Scooby was the best performer, only tyre and brake advisories once every few years, the rest a pass every time
