Ceased trading as of today, I know quite a few people who had holidays booked for this summer with them. I've had a few holidays booked through them before.

Booked with them last year, couldn't fault them, and certainly had the best hotel/flight deals.

I've been booking through them for the last 3 or 4 years.
I'm going to Ibiza next weekend, all booked through them

That sucks. Been using them the last few years, never had any problems with them.

This has taken over my Saturday...
Our flights with Ryanair are fine. Basically Low Cost takes the money from your account as soon as you book your holiday; they then forward the money to the airline within a couple of working days hence that booking is fine.
However, with the hotel, Low Cost hold the money until the day you are due to check in at the hotel and they then release the money and forward it to the hotel. So we have lost that
So I've had to re-book accommodation and I hadn't yet got any travel insurance

Shouldn't book with such a shit firm that offers no protection in instances such as these.
Always go through the big names for this exact reason.

Beats going to Turkey and getting run over by a tank, or blown up over Egypt, or run over by a truck in France, or shot by a black man in USA.

what you're actually trying to say is you can't afford a proper holiday so going to stay with your girlfriends parents for a week for free
