Then it went in for its facelift, but had already made its mark.

The quality of work on the facelift was terrible. Had Astra GSi bonnet vents on the rear 3/4 panel, cracked not long after it was done. Also he drove to Doncaster with no lights working. Silly git.

Was best when it was white/purple.

Yup, although someone in Ireland got his featured the month before Daves in another mag, but Dave had had his done for ages. Was also white (but plain white) with the same wheels and smooth boot.

The car was the bollox in the blue, white one looked shite. the quality of the smoothing etc.. in on the car was top class actually by seein the car up close many times, yes it cracked.. but so does all filler in certain places because of body flex.. and with his solid suspension and 18's!!!
that car was stupidly loud tho!
as to lights not working.... well Dex isn't a car electrician.

That white one was lovely, had a Mattig front which I loved at the time. I remember it came up for sale just after I bought a car, was gutted

I have been in that a couple of times, but this was when it was white with blue rear clusters, and mk4 Astra side repeaters that didn't work!

The white one didn't look sh1te at all. It made cover car, teh blue one got a 2-3 page feature.

The white one change the corsa modding world. It took it on that step forward!!!! I've still yet to see another UK Corsa with Smoothed roof rails.

The first car to have:

Smooth Scuttle Panel
Smooth Boot (Think, not sure on this one)
18"s
18"s on std archs
Single wiper, actaully in the middle!!
Leather Re-trim!
Spare wheel arch removed
Blade Mirrors
Flipped paint
First Corsa i know of to have that front bumper too.

By the time theblue one was done, Corsas had already started to become mass filler and fibreglass cars.

Dave was the first person to dare to be different everyone else was still putting combat kits on their corsas. I LOVED daves car (when it was white) at the time. There wasn't anything else like it.

Right.. because the white one was a cover car it was good? Urm no!i have seen plenty of shite cover cars.

I'm not denying the white one had all this stuff first? so what you trying to prove ?
You say about the white one was soo amazing then say the blue one's work was crap? all done by the same bloke.
The Arches where modded to fit the 18's under, even if it is just debolting.. it makes them not standard.
just because it did it all first doesnt make the white one better then the blue ?!
Oh and flipped paint... no it was a white car with coloured laquer.

in MY opinion the blue one looked alot better, and seeing it again a few months back it has some lovely work on it.

So please get the facts right Gibbs

Cameleon didn't hardly do anything on C4.

White one had no problems, blue one was fcuked after a few months.
