humm yes i think that would be the best option.. now wen u lower it.. do u have to stiffen it as a seperate thing or does this come with it being lowered

u eithe by springs or a packageof shortend damperss and springs.
first option will cost u about 70 odd quid and 2nd anythin from around 300 upwards.

i dont quite know much about this so waht would i do to lower it 40mm and stiffen it so wen i go over bumps it dont scrape the arches

if u get apex -40 springs from pvd or wat4ever. they are stiffend and shortend.
u shudnt get any provbs wi the arches catchin as mine is down around 50 and i aint had any scrubbing.

U go buy lowering springs, right!
the lowering springs are also stiffer than ur standard springs (cos they are shorter and the coils are closer together).
u fit springs.
Go out a drive and say "fuck me, this hadles shit hot now!"

all lowering springs are uprated, 'stiffer' than ur standard ones , if just get springs then i would have a go at it urself, it really aint that difficult and i'm no mechanic! haynes manual comes in handy for torque settings ect....

u coul get a local garage to fitem cheap.
i got mine done for 30 bucks.
