Theres a place near me at some traffic lights (on a long straight empty road) where you can boot it from the lights and then boot it in every gear to see how fast you can get til you reach another point which is a large roadsign.

I used to test my GSi there and got to 100mph at the second point...

I just took my Laguna along the same stretch and also got 100mph which suprised me as i thought my GSi would have been faster than my 2.0 8v laguna It was wet too and i got some wheel spin.

Yup I was suprised more from the weight difference not having any effect and the fact that the Laguna 2.0 8v has less BHP than the Corsa dunno bout the torque levels.

I drive at the speed limit most of the time.

I think the torque level is quite low on guna as when ive got a car full it pull like shit, especially on hills

I had a 1/4 tank of juice and just me in the car - it goes quite well for what it is to be fair. I agree about the hills bit though

Still - never fails to suprise me.
