he does ikedo (its japanese), its all about redirecting force, which is handy, untill ur in a confinded space like a pub or a club, then ur screwed as they move their whole body into a direction and need space too do so

ive been doing Teh ji han jeung dao (style of kung fu) for 4 year years, its street fighting based e.g. eye gouging, throat, bollocks (anything on the centre line) and use what ever u got e.g. knees, elbows, headbuts, bottles, sticks, knifes etc

but this is a newish and rare style so unless ur going to kent uni u wont be able to do it

personaly, and this is what im doing when i go to uni, is thai boxing, which is similer to my style using knees, elbows etc, very vishious, very effective and is widely avaliable

if u wanna do a chinese art, go here www.bccma.com and it lists all chinese martial arts in the uk, and where u can do them

hope this helps

I did Lau Gar Kung Fu for about 18 months before going to Uni, was two weeks short of taking my 3rd grading (which would have been scary, all gradings after that are in Chinese).

Did a non-descript kung fu in Uni, but it wasn't up to much...
