to cut a long story short,...
split up with my ex of 5 months about a month ago, i ended it cos it got a bit boring.
i know she loved me more than anything in the word and she was seriously hurt when it was over... all the time we were 2geva she insisted that she had slept with 5 people before me, i always suspected more for some reason... instinct i presume......
since we have spilit i preasured her and found out that actually she has been with 12 people before me  this news has really hurt me and sent me on a downer... makes me feel so.... unspecial to her, all the good times we had dont feel so special.
she says she lied cos she didnt want to put me off cos of how much she liked me and was scared i would just think she was a slag
am i in the wrong to feel so pissed off and suddenly hate her so much?

She lied so you'd feel better about her. Perhaps her fear was that you'd think worse of her if you knew she'd been with more people that she had. Maybe you shouldn't have asked the question and put her on the spot of having to lie not to look bad.
Don't hate her, she's no worse a person. The times you had together are also not in terms of that. Put value on what you brought yourself and saw come from here. Anything else is just predjudice which in no way affects your 5 months together.

anz,if theres no possibility that you'll get back with this girl then i think its best to stop worrying, its done and it cant be changed,but it was wrong to lie although she only did it coz of her feelings for u,which in a way is a good thing, just be her friend or maybe u could get back what u once had
