Russ Harman the organiser of Ripspeed shows emailed me today to ask my opinion on the following

Hiya,
just a quickie... I have got the chance of a Venue for a back end bash
November 23rd ..Royal Bath and West Showground Sheptom Mallet Somerset.
Obviosly I wont do it without the support from the clubs so I need your
honest opinion.
Is it too late in the year... Do Clubs still want places to go at the end of
November.
Are there too many shows.
When do you guys wind down for the season.
Would any of your members want to come if I did it.
Please be honest and let me know.

yeah have a show in my home town shepton mallet or as locals know it shit and smell it, tis a big venue with onsite bar etc.. so there beer is on tap.

well i think it would be good as an end of year show celebrate the end of the show season and a genral big cider pissup. (and theres a jet ski areana there) CS jet ski championship

This is true an indoor event as mentioned above would be perfect

but Bath and west show ground gets v muddy in the winter months
