Got to be at the track briefing for 8.15am And out on track for 9.20am on sunday Bit dissapointing, i was hoping to get off my pickle as usual on saturday night at the local Silverstone Pub, but it seems im gonna have to hold back.

Noooooooo, cars no good at corners, gonna have my fun coming out of the bends and down the straights, but not racing anything into the corners, im still trying to bed my brakes in, andthey get sooooo hot so fast. Gonna be taking it nice and easy on track But have fun.

Ahhh, its only 20 min or whatever, the'll last, however, i know they will get hot. Gonna take drivers side light out to aid the cooling of the engine as it runs hot anyway.

As for pads, i doubt i'll begoing quick enuff for em to suffer really

AndyH, hmmmmmmmm.

Yeah, got the cam belt cover on. It gets hot running at Normal speeds due to that bonnet on it, so need to aid as much cooling as possible.

U coming down for Trax then?

I'll take the driving like a faggot option Would rather take it easy and enjoy it, nto really going for lap times, just for the experience. Dont fancy sliding into the gravel trap!

Kris, standard -35/-40mm springs Hence why my car doesn't go round corners And i know it, so thats why im gonna be taking it easy. When the funds start rolling in again, its the first big purchase i wanna make.

fair enough, ive got 1.6 petrol springs on my td and they are way too soft, hate too think what they are like on yours, lol get some decent shocks.

Kris, its a bit bouncy on big bumps, and deffo sways under cornering, but its not too bad. Just not good enuff to give a real pasting to on track. As said before, m notr going to be selling it for years yet, so theres plenty of time to sort it all out and take it on proper track days. Im in no rush

Adam, as said above, yeah, it does a bit

But then, at the mo, i know its like that, so all corners are taken with great care when i drive it. Nothing wrong, just i dont wanna chance crashing it.

Self Control I've been around motorsport all my life. You go as far as your comfortable with, and given my cars current modifications, that means not very fast

However, i will enjoy putting my foot down on the hanger straight See how my car compares. Usually only get Saxos, Corsas, Astra GTE's try to race. Pah, easy meat for the grinder

I just hope there isn't to many cars hanging around the corners, cause I want to do this again :

but hopefully I can fully connect all the corners if its dry and I can also smoke some tyres
