Civic Type-R shunted an AX GT into the car I was passenger in......it nearly folded the AX GT in half (B & C pillars buckled, roof kinked), despite being low enough speed for the airbags in the CTR to not be triggered...

Right outside the "show car" entrance to Silverstone, at about 6:30am, anyone who turned up about that time probably saw them...

AX's are even worse than 106s they really are like tissue paper

Didn't help that front & back bumpers were both fibreglass, but it still did plenty of damage...

Light scratches to the rear bumper, slightly bent mesh in the bumper......just to make sure, though, he's having the bumper completely removed to check there's no damage behind it, then having the bumper re-smoothed and resprayed, the mesh straightened, and then the bumper replaced.

so thers not much damage on the clio really is there? well not like the AX

so how can u say french cars are crap? coz the renault is french, and that stood up to the impact well.

dont be prejudiced against french cars, its just AX's

The CTR and AX GT took most of the impact, the AX was only pushed forward into us......the fibreglass front bumper took majority of the impact with us.
