Went to LongLife Exhausts in Gloucestershire today to get a new system fitted.
It's classed as a CAT-Back system but it's pretty much a full system because the cat is straight after the manifold. Also and the centre silencer removed. Stainless steel throughout (t304 is it?) to 2x 3" inwardly rolled pipes - I wasn't sure about the pipe sizes but I'm happy I didn't go any bigger as it would have looked daft.
I'm well happy with the finished result, and it sounds bloody superb too!

Ross -  I was waiting for that I know where you're coming from but I've had 4 friends of mine have similar work done at this particular branch and all have been superb with no problems at all

That's because of how the bumper curves around to the left - both pipes are parallel
So stop nit picking!

I had an exhaust done there on one of my old cars and they were a complete bunch of wankerss They didnt ask me how loud i wanted it and so made it as loud as they could, their reason was i was young and so they thought i was a boy racer and so they made it loud, they actually told me that!!!!!
Plus when it was there they managed to brake a coil in the engine and so i had to leave my car there for the night and wait for them to fix it, had a massive Rover automatic that cut out when it got hot for a curtasey(sp) car which my dad drove but fucking hated!!!
Took it back cuz it was to loud to live with!!! it actually made your ears ring when you got out the car The guy didnt give a fuck and i had to pushed my dad in the car before he decked him

Sam - That doesn't sound good! It was some bloke in his early 30's? Seemed pretty sound, as were the people fitting it - asked me about pretty much every detail all the way though.

Must of been new owner/manager cuz it was seriously shit when i was there but then that was like 2 years ago!!!!
