I've just been quoted £2108 fully comp. on a 98 corsa 1.0. Who said they were meant to be quite competitive ??? anybody reccomend anyone else ??? cos the only other place thats quoted me is direct line.

They used to be quite good

They quoted me £600 on my sri whereas Lv quoted me £1250 both done yesterday ]

Tip aswell add your mum or dad as 2nd driver aswell

tried HIC, said they don't insure under 19's so couldn't give me a quote. I'm 17 by the way

Do u reckon elephant will quote me for mods etc. even though i'm only 17 ?? I mean i chose the smallest engine i could to keep quotes down, but that obviously hasn't worked !!

Most places will charge extra for alloys etc but you shouldn't be getting quoted that much just try them and find out yourself

i had a 98 corsa 12v and it cost me 600£ with 2yr nbc and i was 20 at the time. that was fully comp all mods inc to

mine is £1100 with my mum policy holder and me as a named driver. thats on a p reg 1.4 16v sport. thats with CIS

either i can get a good quote with say CIS or elephant, and mod the exterior, or go with direct line and only add some ICE in it, and keep everythin else standard.

i am 19 with 0 No claims coz i crashed in Jan and claimed. I declared all mods and there are allot! and it come to £720!

Anyway just got an online quote with CIS and i was £2129.36 fully comp. I've gotta av fully comp really cos the cars worth £3k
