Brand new, only opened to test and it works fully and has a really clear picture.
Comes with all the bits in the pic, box and instructions.
Paid around £200 inc taxes (sent from Canada) but i'm selling the car soon and have no use for it at the mo.
So i'm looking for offers close to £200 for a quick sale

The make is Innovatek, which is basically a Panasonic re-badged.
Looked on ebay, and the same one sells for £140 + £25 delivery + import tax, so around £240ish and even thats still quite cheap considering the equivalent Sony or Panasonic is priced from £599 and up.

From looking on their site and asking other people who sell these, this unit and the version that pops out of the dash both use Panasonic components
Generally, the unbranded TFTs are fine, its the STN screens that are crap.
I've powered it up, and the screen quality is just as good as the Alpine CVA-1003 that i had.

The entire spec is on the website below. The most import part of the spec is the resolution - 1480 x 234 = 346320 pixels.
I looked on the Panasonic website, and this is actually a higher resolution than their current model which has 336,960 pixels.
Check the links below

I dont see how import tax is that much.
I have just had £350 worth of goods and the import tax was only £63
Also there are proper indash 7" screens (Resolution (DOT) 1440(H) x 234(V) = 336,960 dots )(The same ones from the mp3playerstore.com site)on ebay from Irland at £160 so no import tax etc.

Just dont want other users paying over the odds for stuff thats not worth it.
I am sure you wouldnt mind if you were about to buy somthing that can be brought at a cheaper price.
When I looked into getting stuff from that site they also told me the tuner wont work over here.
Are they wrong? Does the tuner pic up channels?

Just looked at the link you put up.
[Quote] Please note that the TV Monitor is PAL / NTSC.
So it can be used all around the world.
However, the TV tuner is designed to work in North America.
Therefore the TV tuner will not offer is best performance outside North America [/Unquote]

right, do you want to buy this screen?
Its not a debate as to what it does and doesn't do, as i have the screen, have powered it up and know exactly what it can and can't do.
Please no more bloody timewasters!!!

nah im sorry mate, the resolution isnt what it says.
With these unbranded makes, the resolution given is false. The realistic figure is around 115440 pixels. Its the way the unbranded makes sell their product.
And there isnt a point in trying to argue because i know a very reputable importer that will tell you the same.

Holding it next to the Alpine CVA-1003 that i had, there was virtually no difference in resolution. Maybe some brands are dodgy, but having seen 2 of these in cars at meets, i knew these screens were good, so i ordered one. Now i have no use for it, which is the only reason i'm selling.
