A few points:

1. I have better things to do with my time than try and hack people's web sites.

2. What is this "Internet Law" you speak of? Last time I checked, I live in England, not in a computer, and as such, are subject to the laws of the United Kingdom, and not of a computer network.

3. If you both were so worried about an 'attack' like this happening, why did you not change any passwords?

4. Please feel free to check your access logs. And when you find it has nothing to do with me, I expect a public apology from both of you, and a reason why I should not commence litigation proceedings against both of you (please note, I am NOT bluffing, I am really pissed off with this whole saga).

5. When did Scott change his name to Craig?

My recommendation would be for either Sam or Scott to instruct the ISP to reset the password and notify Scott of the new details. Have them also mail Sam to confirm that this has taken place with a copy to Scott.

My recommendation to Simon would be not to try and scare Sam with some ill-baked legal clap trap about nothing. I'd also consider finding an ISP who doesn't have to take time to dig out access logs. Its a text file on a computer and possibly some typing at the command line to grep it down a bit, not a mysterious set of facts that you've got to research.

Unauthorised access would actually fall under Computer Misuse Act 1990 which outlines three offences:

1. Unauthorised access.
2. Ulterior intent to commit another crime.
3. Criminal damage.

If what you're saying is correct then the guilty party falls foul of offences 1 and 3. Not some random number starting with a 10

I'd also strongly ask whoever has been compromised to ask why the hell this was allowed to happen. Its highly like that this would never make it to court given the circumstances.

This has nothing to do with me so i dont even want my name brought into it.

As far as im aware my coding on the site was delted by someone who accesed it with the password etc. there is only 2 people with the password.

As i said please keep myself and my compnay out of the silly arguments and pointless posts.

I must agree with what Scott has said.

Scott and Illusion have nothing to do with this and it is between mestonian and Sam.

Please treat as that as Scott has not spoken to mestonian in regards to this and had no input on mestonians u2u to sam.
