I picked this Corsa up in the Freeads:
1.5 Diesel Merit, 75k miles, receipts for £1500 in the last 12 months!
Was in a state when I got it, Laquer was peeling off the paint, rear light broken, bumpers shagged, wheels kerbed to buggery, bald tyres, shagged brakes useless glowplugs, buggered interior, worn out gearlinkage etc, was still taxed and tested thou
2 months later (after waiting 6 weeks for the paint) here it is..
Luckily a mate works in a scrapyard so I could get parts cheap.
All in ive spend £400 including the cost of the car.
I did some subtle cheap mods along the way, including smoked headlights (homemade), tinted rear lights (homemade), LED dash conversion, colour coded bumpers and mirrors, Enkei 15's (from Japan v lightweight), chrome door pulls, adapted 5 door spolier to fit.
Anyway here it is, bear in mind it was my first attempt at spraying, and I did it on the front lawn

Put it on the deck and make a euro cruiser out of it. Smooth and very low.

Hopefully going -60mm as soon as the new wheels arrive.
Im a dealer for Rota wheels (from the US) very very light weight rims..
Ive got 10 sets arriving in the next fortnight, so a set of them will be going on..
Im thinking stick to 15's and slam it?
Will I need 195/45's or will 50's clear with the right offset?

with -60mm, you might be better off with 45 profiles
BTW - is there a website for these rota wheels? What sizes, offests, weights are they??

Cheers - email me on:
andrew@biopotential.co.uk
I currently use Team Dynamics 15 x 7s, weighin in at 5.5kgs per rim. (12.1lbs). But I'm interested in getting hold of some 15x6.5s or even 15x6s in a light weight. The 7" width is not the best handling wise

I heated the silicon up with a hairdryer, and split the headlight into glass and backing.
I then sprayed the headlight surround matt black, and removed the orange refractor bit..
Put it all back together with new silicon, added and orange bulb and there you go..
