Steve if you dont wish to mod the car dont mod it...
I do not wish to mod my car as I like the way it looks in standard form in the same way you like the way yours looks in standard form...
There is nothing I cant stand more than seeing cars on there arse with only a small part of the rear wheel being visable as the rest is buried under the wheel arch...
Keep it standard and mint....IMHO...or try and source std parts such as interior etc which are in better condition than what you have already...or new..

no its not im not getting into this argument again as its pointless, a 106gti is a saxo vts and vice versa so none can be faster than the other

mate there is no difference im telling you, i bet you couldve grabbed a random saxo and it wouldve been heavier than the pug, no two cars will weigh the same, even if you took two idenctical corsas, not to mention things like one having more fuel etc
same cars, same weight, any small differences will not affect its performance

Pug 106 GTi Kerb Weight - 925kg
Saxo VTS Kerb Weight - 935kg or 920kg, depending on facelift or not...
like 5 or 10kg is going to really make any shred of noticeable difference...

but on another note, keep the gti as it is, clean...
not often you see a yellow one about, especially in standard trim!

I dont see why you 'have to lower it' you want to be able to drive it in comfort, if you stick a set of spring on you will be compramising this!!

imo
a mint 106 gti will be worh far more than a mint corsa gsi in years to come...
and will also be worth FAR more than a modded 106gti of the same age/general condition...

Your house looks very posh.
