thanks for the comments guys,

i got my new radiator today so had a quick trial fit with intercooler too and i think its gonna work ok hopefully lol




the new tailpipe fitted to the mrs car


and also towbar evidence on the pug lol

Matt is the coil mount to go in the orginal place of mount of the dizzy blank ?

Why use a coil instead of the dizzle? I imagine its so the ECU can control ignition easier? What coil you using?

lovely. Dizzy is old technology. Far better off without moving parts and using a coil pack. My mount is from s b d also. Looks well different laugh out loud.

yeah the bracket bolts to the head over the top of the dizzy blanking plate, im using coil setup because there just better really, think im just gonna use a coilpack from a 2.0 vectra, think thats what others use

think they just changed the design of them, expensive place to shop is sbd lol

todays activity was to get the mrs nova outa the garage and start putting the new lifters in ready for being put back on the road in april

lovley nice new lifters




at this point we had to go and borrow a torque wrench as mine wouldnt go as low as the required 20nm


and thats how we left it for tonight

well its been another day on the mrs nova, we wanted to change the clutch plate for the standard one as the helix paddle one is just no good around town etc

so we jacked the car up like this




is that a real person under there?


then started removing the box


its original clutch going back in


few bits


and back together

hello, i got some more parts today, 2mm cometic gasket, piper double valve springs and steel retainers and stem seals to suit


thanks to steveboyslim again and anyone that wants to look at a nova on a corsa site etc
