The way things are heading, it wouldn't surprise me if they all tear each other apart trying to take / keep the throne and the white walkers finish of whoever is left when they head south

Why is/was Jon viewed as a main character? I don't recall him getting anymore screentime than anybody else over the seasons so far.

He's definitely dead anyway. He's even said it himself. His contract is finished.
Kyle, he's had much more air time than anyone recently.

Chris Evans also categorically said he wasn't hosting Top Gear
As for airtime, it swings with the seasons to be honest. Last time Tyrion seemed to be getting the lions share, season before Rob Stark, season 2 Arya seemed to get a lot of it, Season 1 old Neddy, etc. I honestly think it's just perception of where the story currently is rather than there being a pre-defined "main character". They sometimes die, they sometimes don't.

He won't be called Jon Snow when he returns, he will be called Azor Ahai

Ever since Jon joined the nights watch it's been about him working his way up the ranks and wanting to do good by helping and saving people. Screentime has nothing to do with it, Jon was the main character when it came to the wall.
Who do you think was the main character of the nights watch storyline?

Not 100%, but Maester Aemon was certain. Stannis isn't due to the sword bringing light, but no heat.

So could it be Jon?! Ties up with the red whore being at castle black? Or is he just due a resurrection from the Lord of light?

what about the priestess? she arrived back at castle black just before Jon was Killed. shes been trying to get to him for a while.
considering the shenanigans shes pulled I wouldnt be surprised if she can revive him into some born again badass.
Also remember the gang that Aya was going round with that could keep reviving people when they are dead?! so it is possible within Game Of Thrones

I don't actually mind him being dead, expected it sooner. Just strange that she shows up as he dies

Yes, I suppose it is possible There have been a few hints towards it being Jon, such as his dream with a red sword in his hand fighting Others, and the possibility of Rhaegar being his father. But GRRM is extremely clever in the way he gives hints about so many different characters.
But Dany was born amidst smoke and salt as per the prophecy, so she's still my best bet.
It could be Jon, Dany, even someone like Victarion who I can't recall seeing at all in the series.

Someone at work who's already read the books said the 3 people that ride the 3 dragons to Westeros are Khaleesi, Arya Stark and Jon Snow.
Although they're not keeping the TV series identical to the books, that would be a hefty change.
Not sure if there's any truth in it?!

In the books there's a prophecy that contains the line "The dragon has three heads".
The Targaryen coat of arms is a three headed dragon.
This has lead to a heap of fan theories about who the other two might be (everyone assuming Daenerys being the first).
More info here: http://www.westeros.org/Citadel/Prophecies/Entry/II_511_512_The_Dragon_Has_Three_Heads/
What everyone seems to be forgetting is that the books often cuts off storylines completely. If every small hint that has been deemed to be of importance would end up being important, then there'd be some 20.000 pages of books left.
That's not the case though, so a lot of these "hints" will turn out to be nothing but smoke.
