Yes but that's a ridiculous idea because of the risk of injury, I've ridden my trials bike around the garden in just socks after changing the clutch but I wouldn't compete without boots because if I fell off, I'd rip my feet to bits and the exhaust sits on the inside of my leg so the boot has more function.ive ridden a bike bare foot, platform pedals are better for it imo than say bear traps but meh, you're being ridiculous as there's no comparison between the two-you're hardly likely to fall out of your car and get gravel rash on anything exposed unlike a bike or skateboard

Yes
Driving barefoot was far preferable to both of the above and didn't carry the risks

He asked have we ever tried pedaling barefoot, not do we prefer it. I've rode a bike barefoot on a couple of occasions, don't ask me why I can't remember, probably because I was a kid and daft.
Again with the skateboard, I did it once as a kid when I needed to pop over to my mates house and couldn't be bothered putting shoes on, I figured the skateboard would be more comfortable than walking barefoot, when I had to olly up a kerb, I realised my mistake

I was asking about a push bike not a motorcycle.
And it was a general question, not a comparison. Ive tried cycle a bike bare footed and from what i can remember it was quite painfull and weird on my soft feet, and they were shitty plastic pedals as well.

yeah, I wouldn't choose to do it repeatedly nor if I was on a proper ride out but its not exactly impossible to do over a short distance.

Truck drivers in moccasins, think of the children.

That's worrying that in the largest type of veichles on the road, they are not wearing proper footwear. God help the veichle infront if they need to slam on the anchors in a truck barefooted!

how is it stupid?
Sometimes when driving with heavier footwear, such as safety boots, I find it harder to drive slightly. But I imagine with no shoes, it'd be easier

I've typed out a couple of derogatory posts to you since you've started piping up again but always thought better of it and moved onto the next post instead.
You agreeing is as bad as Anty agreeing, this proves it's a completely stupid thing to do.

Someone who was driving with no shoes on smashed into the back of my mates car last week, no idea if the lack of shoes was a factor.

Of course it wasn't.
What colour was his T shirt? That may have been a factor.

I've driven about 10,000miles since this thread was started. Approximately 10% were done barefoot and 10% were done in flip flops; I still haven't had an accident. Fuck yeah
