I've been using the FAL recently  was using FAMAS before that. It seemed to take a lot to kill someone with it though

yea if you like guns with the burst then use the m16, thats what i use, its more powerful and has less recoil.

Tried using the M16 and i fucking hated it. I think its because im too used to the M4A1.
Picked up someones SCAR when i ran out of bullets the other day and found that quite good but it had a fair amount of recoil. The ACR is decent too, fuck all recoil but takes plenty to kill someone.
Personally for me the M4A1 is the best all rounder.

Thing is we need some organisation, if one person gets kicked, everyone needs to come back out to regroup otherwise the only other way to join is "join session" whenever it becomes available and then you invariably get put on the other side.
