Intentional or ironic spelling mistake ?

Definitely unintentional, he's not clever enough to be that funny.

I'm not sure what I've even done tbh.

Tyres delivered. Missed delivery of course, had to stop the guy as he was driving out my road.

Anyway, makes me laugh that the tyres are dated 1915 so they're almost 18 months old, yet can be sold 'as new'. Does the rubber not degrade at all when stored?

Says they can be 5yrs old and qualify as new

http://www.blackcircles.com/helpcentre/tyres/age-of-a-tyre

They will be fine, its normally sunlight that ages stuff

Been a while since I've done a car related job but today's task was to take off my alternator off the monaro, wasn't as bad as I thought but going to be a pain to get it all back together. This week's job is to take it to somewhere to fix it because I dont fancy paying the £470 they retail at

Phoned round for a quote for a timing chain (and other relevant bits) to get repaired. Been quoted £500 all in. So getting it recovered a week on Wednesday and delivered at the garage for work to commence.

Not my car but a friends old saxo, just died on Thursday and won't start. Has fuel, has spark, cleaned up all sensors, cranks over, no sign it was going to die when it did. Literally cleaned every sensor and checked every connection/earth etc and the bastard thing still won't start reckon one of the sensors is dead.

Found out my compression tester has died too so need to replace it

Changed the drop links and lower arm links on the Megane.

Safe to say the lower arm links were fucked. Feels much better now. £132 all in from Renault for a 4.
