in fairness, balague does say madrid got him fro 2.3 (risign to almost 6 if he stays) PLUS first dibs on oliver torres who looks the business.
however, we got £8m for Gervinho that woul have paid for Villa (€11-12m) so god knows why we didnt  Especially given Ox ;/

We get written off for 4th the EVERY year. But still make it.
Not happy with just 4th every year but its better than 5th

I think Alderweireld is better than Vertonghen, and look how well he's settled in to the team! As said before, on paper that is a title challenging squad. Willian has the ability to replace Bale's direct approach with Soldado replacing the goals.

I reckon I'd jizz a little bit if Spurs won the league. Just becasue it would be at the expense of Chelsea & City but more importantly Arsenal fans would be on suicide watch!
